Hello, I am newly diagnosed with gd and really haven’t grasped it alI yet. I am not on anything yet and in limbo, waiting to get in to see an endo. I was told that my TSH is .03, free thyroxine 52.5 with normal being 9.0-20.0 (PMOL/L) and total T3 6.23 with normal being .92-2.33 (NMOL/L) . I am interested in finding out what other people’s levels are, or have been and how it affected you. Just how serious is this? Lee

My T3 was 600, T4 was 20 and TSH was 0.1. Very sick. I’ve been on
Tapazole and Inderal for 3 weeks. Going to endo today. Will have
new levels taken. Should be alot lower by now. I’ll let you know.

Diane, I was diagnosed last march. I was initially put on .1 synthroid. I was still very sluggish so he put me on .125 which I though was good – a higher dosage to give me more energy.

I’ve been on the .125 for 8 weeks now and I still feel sluggish, tired all the time, dizzy, swollen so I talked with the nurse at my endo’s office and she confused me she made is sound as if my dosage should be go down if I feel low.

    Any thoughts.
