Hi Virginia. I know of many people who have had fluctuations such as what you’re describing, and I would think that’s something your doctor has encountered before, so he shouldn’t think you’re nuts. Has he told you what he thinks is happening?

Whether it will level out depends on what’s causing it. I’d like to hear what happens for you.

    Best wishes,

    Hi All,
I have a question about TSH levels. I have been on synthroid for a little over a year now. I started out pe-treatment at .005. Then i went to 89.9. After being on synthroid i went down to .2. They altered my dose and then i went to 1.2. I felt good there but at my next check up I was at .5. so 8 weeks later i had another test and now i’m at 2.2. Is it usual to have this much fluctuation? Does it ever kind of level out?
I’m curious too because i was feeling hyperish but i’m at 2.2. I think my doctor is going to begin to think i’m nuts….heck i somtimes wonder myself :o)
