    I can’t believe the day of my total thyroidectomy is finally here (tomorrow, May 6th). When I first set the date on March 3rd, it seemed a life time away…but I’m old enough now to know how time flies!

    Anyway, I’m sure I’ll have entirely new sets of questions after the surgery is done, but I just wanted to say thanks to all who have provided invaluable information on this board over the past 6 months or so. I’m a little nervous, but not overly so…I’ll be checking back in as soon as I am able to tell you how the operation went.
