I’am currently having quite a few problems. Before I tell my entire story I have a question I need answered. My blood tests revealed a TSI antibody at 92. The range went to 130. Under is ” Normal “. If Normal people do not have any TSI why is there a range? I have RA also. I’m told that maybe thats what causing the TSI count. My sister has Graves as her daughter. Worried. Thanks…Geoff

While having no TSI antibodies is “normal”, I have read that there is a sizeable percentage of people within a population of “normal” patients (i.e. they have no discernable thyroid disease) who have some antithyroid antibodies present. The range, then, on the antibody tests would have to be adjusted to accomodate having “some” antibodies.

I have heard that some endo’s say if you have moderate ( 92 ? ) TSI Graves can be a suspicion?? I have Rhematoid Arthritis. Can this cause TSI to elevate?? Thanks
