    Hi there

I had RAI in Jan and then I went hypo about 2 months later so I started on Thyroxine 75ml and after a month I definitely thought I was hyper again which showed in my blood test. So now I’m taking 50ml and it has been 2 weeks now and I still feel hyper. So I’m just worried because every day I take this pill and think hmmm why am I taking this because now I’m just going to be hyper still and what if I really don’t need this much and what if the RAI didn’t even kill enough glands and so I’m basically making myself hyper with this pill. But yes, I know it takes time to adjust to work out the amount you need but I remember after RAI, I was taking 3 pills of Carbimazole which got me to hypo stage, so what if it was just those pills working too well instead of the RAI you know??

I suggest you document your symptoms, ie. heart rate, blood pressure, heat intolerance, increased appetite, the way you "feel" in general, and report them to your doctor. Read your post again, and it seems that your endo is on board, has reduced the dose, and you need to wait some more.
But it sounds like your doc is doing the right thing, and perhaps it is a good thing to remember that all things Graves’ move very slowly. Perhaps during the next two weeks the hyper symptoms may begin to recede. You will learn nothing from the next lab that is useful, unless you wait at least 6-8 weeks. If it is done before that, it will not represent where your really are.
    The waiting is hard.
    Shirley
