I just wanted to thank everyone’s kindwords and well wishes
about my Mom. I was feeling a little lonely. Actually what
helped a lot was that fact that many of you have lost parents
and still miss them. I was feeling pretty silly but now I
realize that I am normal after all. *Hugs*

Carolyn,
I understand your pain. I lost my dad going on 8 years now and still miss him every day. You are never too old to miss a loved one. For me the pain has gotten better but there will always be that emptiness in my heart.
