    Hello everyone.

I want to thank all of you who helped me get through the first few weeks of GD. I was feeling so miserable then and you came to my rescue with advice and words of hope and encouragement. I was feeling so terrible then that I was at first worried about dying and then worried that I wasn’t dying soon enough.

As some of you know, I’m taking Methimazole 30mg/day, which I’m told is kind of high. I’m now on my 5th week of treatment (I said 6th on another post but it is 5th week … I just counted) and I wanted to share with you that as of last week I’ve been feeling better … more myself. I’m able to do more and at times I even forget I’m sick. I’ve even had to start setting an alarm clock for my Rx b/c the last couple of times I’ve forgotten to take it at the correct time.

Anyway, thank you for all of your words of support. They helped a lot. I’m so glad I found this forum. In two weeks I’ll be getting new labs and I’ll keep you posted on that.

    Thanks!!!!!!
    Caro :)
