I haven’t posted for a very long time. I have been feeling very normal this past year. After the long struggle to achieve normal levels after the ablation, I thought that Graves was under control. I went to my GP today because my throat (neck) has been swollen on the right side. It has been this way for several weeks. My 13 year old son has strep throat, diagnosed today, and when the nurse took my temp, it was 100. BUT, the doctor was very concerend about the swelling, and ordered a sonogram. I was just having trouble sleeping, and decided to come back to the good old bulletin board to see if anyone here had any answers. I take synthroid now, and I guess that since I’ve been feeling so good, I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop. You know, cancer or something. I also have some small hives on the outside of my neck. It seems that I am plauged with these once a month or so. Anyway, just checking in for old time sake. Thank you all for getting me through the worst part a couple of years ago. Hopefully this will be nothing. Thanks again…Netty
