Admin has been forwarding me e-mails asking why accounts have been suspended. As stated earlier this month, we use a program that checks servers for spammers, scammers and hackers. The program is updated dozens of times a day.
Depending on the number of spam, scam or hacker attempts that passed through servers that day, the program will add and delete service providers hourly. That is why sometimes you can register and post only to be suspended later…
Due to that problem, we will be going to a membership only based posting on 1 Nov 06. In the mean time we still get e-mails daily asking why an account was suspended. All future questions on suspended accounts will be forwarded to me. I will respond to all requests for information on suspended accounts with the statement that we are going to a member only posting forum.
If you have been able to post and for some reason your server (it is not individual e-mails but your entire server is blocked) has been put on the suspended list, you will need to join the NGDF to post.
By going to a membership only forum we can do away with the program that blocks folks. Since only member’s can post we know you are not a scammer, spammer or hacker and we can block all attempts to hack into our database and it also protects all the posters since their e-mails will only be available to other members.
The board will remain open to read and use our search button to find information. Our board of directors has endorsed this approach. Since we are all volunteers it will allow us to take time to answer post and provide support.
