The Amsterdam Declaration was signed by 87 international professional and patient organizations (including the GDATF) with the goal of helping TED patients receive a more timely diagnosis and referral to specialist care, support for smoking cessation, and proper treatment.

The purpose of this survey is to help the Amsterdam Declaration Steering Committee determine progress on its stated objectives.

The target audience is patients who have received a new diagnosis of Thyroid Eye Disease (also called Graves’ Eye Disease, Graves’ Ophthalmology, or Graves’ Orbitopathy) within the last 12 months. The reason for the specific time frame is that the results of this survey will be compared to patients who have been diagnosed during other specific time periods in order to (hopefully) measure improvement.
