Well, I had my hernia repair surgery and everything went swimmingly. Pain / swelling hasn’t kicked in yet, but they do say it might start the next day in full force. But I have my ice packs and percocet ready to do battle – lol.
Glad to get this behind me (well it was in front of me and he didn’t move it – just fixed it) and get back to concentrating on just the Graves issue.
Thanx again to all my forum friends for all the good wishes and thoughts – they really worked.
Bill
I know that Graves’ threw a real wrench into getting this procedure done in a timely manner, so it’s great to hear that all went well! Take care!
Good news Bill! Hopefully your recovery is uneventful and quick. Get plenty of rest…easier said than done.
Best wishes!
Karen
Bill, happy to hear all went well!!!!!
Karen
Bill!
So glad you have this of your list of things to do!
Been there. Did that. All done! You might find yourself walking around bent over more than usual. But that gets better, too.
It’s been a struggle and a wait.
Best wishes with your recovery.
ShirleyThanx everyone (again).
Thanx – Shirley – I have the bent over part taken care of today – lol.

Hey Bill!
I’m so happy to hear that surgery went well. I’m sure you’re hurtin’ today but think about how much better you’l feel once you’re healed up- hard to see it right now, I’ll bet, but you’ll get there.
It sounds like you’re up and moving around already albeit bent over. That’s good but don’t overdo it – listen to your body.
Hang tough!
Health and non-itchy stitches for ya,
Boomer
Thanx, Boomer
Yea, feeling it more today but I know it’s just temporary so I can deal wigth it. Trying to use as little pain medication as possible.
Bent over a bit – but really more walking like an old man – not yet able to skip…lol
Looking forward to be able to get back on my bicycle and get back to my exercise regimen – but I know that’s at least a week away.
Itchy hasn’t started yet – hope it doesn’t – but it certainly has a deeper shade of purple to it ( wasn’t there a song like that?).
