    Hey everyone!! I changed my mind and decided against surery. I just didn’t fell comfortable with it. I talked to my endo and he feels if I take my medicine right and do everything he says to do he can sneak the RAI in. My consultation with my surgeon went well just terrified me. She said and i quote. ‘ I feel you would respond well to the RAI, since your Uptake scan was 55% after 24 hours" Im not exactly sure what that ment but I tookt hat to heart told my endo and he said we will see if that can be done. So basically im just waiting for my levels to even out so i can do that. I would much rather take the chance of not being able to have kids then being on calcium pills and all the other complications that can occur from parathyroid gland damage. I dont know all options seem no better than the next but for some reason the voice within says not to have surgery and i have had surgery before and had no hesitations. I don’t know I may be freaking out more than I should but I thought I would update all of you esp the ones that alwasy respond to my posts. Which again i appreciate it ver much. You have all really helped me through a lot. When times are hard the first thing i do is jump on here. I can express the wonders of this foundation. I wish I could have more involvement.

    I have a question. I really didn’t know who to ask so I just do it this way. I wanted to go to a sporting goods store and have them make me a shirt. I was going to put the website of this foundation on my shirt. Is that aloud?

    I too maybe facing RAI and like you I did have surgery before in my case when I was 9.I wish we could meet.

    Hi Hopeful,

    I’ve sent you a private message with an email address to officially ask about putting the website link on your T-shirt, but I would think it would be good advertisement. There could be something I’m not aware of, so please send the email.

    Why would you think the RAI would interfere with having a baby in the future, if you don’t mind my asking?

    Thanks for keeping us up to date on how you are doing. You have to listen to that voice deep inside. Also, if the surgeon said you should do OK on RAI, that seems like a good recommendation.
    Also, thanks for giving us some of the credit. It is very nice to hear back from people and get the feedbacvk that we helped in some way.
    And yes, you may put the website on a tee-shirt. Send a picture!
