Well another successful weekend of Support Group Leader Training was conducted this past weekend in Brevard, NC at the Hampton Inn. Two new support groups will soon be on there way to help folks with Graves’ disease in two states new to our support group program. Jan, Nancy and I ran the training sessions.
We had three from Cleveland Ohio and one from Charlotte NC. The NGDF is proud that we take the time and expense to train all new support group leaders that we can. The training ran for three days and was about 25 hours long.
As you can see we try our best to provide the best support the NGDF can. All of our on-line facilitators have attended at least two training sessions and over 90% of our state support group leaders have received the 25 hour training session.
The Hampton Inn in Brevard NC has hosted the last three training sessions and provided the rooms and conference room free of charge to the NGDF.
