i have been having a sore throat for past week or so. it especially hurts when i swallow. could this be thyroid? a little background – i had rai in December. started taking replacement in April. I am not sure its the levels are 100% stable but im on very low dose (88)

We’re not doctors here, so take any comments with a grain of salt. The sore throat after RAI that is mentioned occurs right away — within a week or two. If you have already gone on replacement hormone, it doesn’t sound like you have much thyroid to be causing soreness.

The best thing, since it is lingering, would be to see your GP, who will be able to determine what is probably going on.
