Need some advise quickly. Just started on hormone replacement therapy today. Took Levoxyl .075 mg for the first time 4 hours ago.
I FEEL LIKE I AM GOING TO JUMP OUT OF MY SKIN. I am very shaky inside and out.. just like I felt when I was first diagnosed with hyper/Graves 4 months ago. My TSH ws 30 and T4 was 2.65 in latest blood tests..
This is the dosage my Endo prescribed.

Is this a normal reaction to this medication or is the dosage to much for me right now. Do I wait it out and take this dosage and see if this goes away or do I call and tell the doctor how I feel.

Any answers as soon as possible, greatly appreciated.

    Hi Caren,
I was in the same place as you 6 weeks ago. My TSH dropped to 65 and so far I have changed my dose of thyroxine five times. Each time I had the same reaction – 3-4 days after starting the dose, I would feel hyper for several hours. This would go away and I would feel another surge around day 8-9. After this the symptoms would improve. Perhaps you are feeling a little nervous and that is why you’re feeling hyper. The medication is not available to your body for at least 48 hours and usually takes at least a week to change your symptoms. Hope this helps. I can sympathize with the way you feel. I have moved from an initial dose of 50mcg to 162,5 in six weeks. I now feel really good. I just hope it lasts!!
    Brenda
