Hi. I see you are having a difficult time deciding on whether to do the ablation. I am 29 years old. I was diagnosed with Graves Disease three years ago. I took ATDs for a year and a half before achieving remission. I started on PTU, but ended up taking Tapazole due to my liver. After a year and a half in remission it has come back. I posted on this website last week for advice about the ablation. I also talked with my endocrinologist, gyn doctor, and a cancer doctor (friend of the family). All of the doctors recommended that i do the ablation and the posts that I received here were very helpful. I want to have kids and that was a big concern for me. I felt confident about the information I received from my doctors and others. I did the ablation today. I will let you know how my experience goes.
