Hello – I still occasionally have very fine tremors, but for me, the worst of it went away after my initial hypER period. Since your levels are stable, the only thing I can think of is that perhaps it will take your body some time to adjust to the lower dose of propranolol. However, you might run this past your doctor just so he/she can rule out any other potential issues.

My thyroid numbers are now OK as of the blood tests I took last month. I am trying to get off the inderal (propranolol) that I was taking for the shakiness and tremors. I have slowly gone down on the Inderal from a high of 120 mg. I am still shaking! Why am I trembling if the thyroid is OK now? And how long does it take until I can expect to be "back to normal"? Anyone know? Thanks!

My tremors are probably one of the last things to go as I get toward normal levels about a year out from starting levoxyl. When I am sick or stressed they come back too. Hope yours get better for you soon as you adjust.

shakiness was the last thing to go away for me as well. AND even though I am in complete remission for just over 3 years without any med’s and I still have my thyroid I STILL get the shaky feeling when I am stressed as well. I think it is just a part of having graves’ regardless of remission or stable on meds, some things still come out.
