Now I am nervous. I am having my thyroid removed on Monday. I didn’t do well with the methimazole and doctor wanted me to decide between surgery and the radiation. I have 4 kids so the radiation would be too hard to work out. So now I have the next few days to sit and worry!! I can’t wait to wake up and it be Tuesday!! I am looking forward to feeling better!!!

I had a TT last Monday and I feel better than I have since I was diagnosed 8 years ago. I took MMI for 8 years and now I wish I had done it years ago considering the way I feel now. It was not bad at all. For me the worse part was a couple days of sore throat from the tube during surgery. Best of luck to you.

Thanks! This has been a little overwhelming because I was only diagnosed a couple of weeks ago! I have had symptoms for 3 years but didnt know I was and have been noticing a lot more since January but have gotten a lot worse since August. I hope recovery wont be too bad!
