Hello everybody, I am exhausted and so happy! I have been to a few County’s down and had and excellent result, with regards to OD. I found a great surgeon who goes in through the lower eyelid, with NO cases of DV and no cases of eye problems, he is a specialist in the field with a special interest in this problem of proptosis. I have a problem with funding as my Doctor can’t refer me as the surgeon has suggested so I may have to fund myself which is a pain. I am not sure I can wait I am sooooo excited and he can reduce my eyes easily by 2-3 mm, perfect for my mild to moderate case! I gave him a hug not sure if that was the proper thing to do but i was so overwhelmed somebody was agreeing with me and offering me help, at last. Just wanted to let everybody know, and I think he is far advanced than surgeons offering the invasive kind of surgery I have read about, he is based here in the UK unfortunately.
