I’m reluctant to admit that I’m in a similar situation as your wife.
My initial physical symptoms are gone but am still clinically
hyperthyroid according to the blood tests and my endo wants to restart
another round of treatment. Recently, I’ve had terrible, terrible mood
swings and am frustrated at being irrational and emotional. I guess its
my bodys way of expressing the turmoil inside. The reason I am writing
is that you never know how this disease is going to present itself
further down the track. Its hard to pursue further treatment when you are
feeling better. Perhaps a second opinion may ease your wife’s mind.
