    Amazing Huh?

    If we do not fit the bill for thyroid disease it is often not checked. Go figure.

    I have looked at my old records and realized that although my mom took me to dr. and said I feel she isn’t "right" that the dr’s never took blood work till I was 19 and even then they didn’t take a TSH, just a T3,T4 and free T4.
    After the birth of my son in 1995 everything seemed to go wrong with me. I bled for a few years and dr’s said it was stress. Long story but family and my at the time husband didn’t help. From 95-97 i only had levels checked twice;
    Once in 1996 Ranges in (__)
    TSH .5(.4-4.2)
    T3 36.0(27.8-40.7)
    T4 8.50(4.50-12.0)
    T4 Free 3.09(1.60-3.70)

    Then in 1997;
    TSH wasn’t even done
    T3 26 (22-35%)
    T4 11 (4.5-12.0)
    T4 free 2.9 (1.4-3.8 Units)

    Not that there is any significance with this but coming to realize that when I was feeling not well they didnt always do blood work. Then I didn’t have another blood test till 2001. Which I had felt horrible for years before I finally got tested in 2001. Just wow!!!! Oh well guess it doesn’t matter now, just something I’m glad I realized.

    T4 11
