I love this ‘troll hair’ talk. Thanx for the info, this is just the kind
of practical info that makes our life easier.

I’m a Cosmetologist, I’ve got GD, and had RAI nearly 5 years ago,
I’ve never experienced “troll” hair myself, but I do lose more then
the average amount with each shampoo, fortunately my hair is thick
so it’s never been a problem.
For those that are having “bad” hair days, You don’t have to spend a
fortune at the salon when there are drug store products that do the
    job just as well.
For people with dry scalp, there’s a great product called
Kolstral,( pronounced like cholesterol ) It’s a very good treatment,
and works quite well,it’s also very affordable.
I would suggest scalp manipulations along with the treatment, This well
stimulate the circulation of blood to the scalp, relax and soothe the
nerves, stimulate the muscles and activity of scalp glands, which all
help to maintain the growth and health of the hair.
I would also recommend avoiding shampoo with a strong soap base, preparations
containing a mineral oil or sulfonated oil base, and any product with a high
    alcohol content.
There are great affordable products, which do a very good job,
    check it out!
    Shannon.
