Hi Steve – I am going on disability as of Monday. I have worked with this firm for 12 years and it feels strange to be leaving but I am finding it too hard to cope. I have been working shorter hours and even that has not worked. My double vision is bad but aside from that the not sleeping really puts me on edge. Some medications make me feel off and all the Doctor appointments and treatments were making me feel guilty about missing so much work. This decision was made because my company plus my Doctor suggested it. I think it will take a lot of stress off. I am just so tired all the time with no energy. Even thinking about doing something is a major decision some days. Sometimes i’d sit in the car being driven to work – as I can’t drive with my double vision – and think — why am I doing this to myself? It was because I didn’t want to give up but now the decision has been made I think I feel better about it. For now anyway. Take care. SAS

You have to say to yourself its not giving up, cant think that way.
By now you might of guess i could easy lock myself away but i
wont because im like you a survior. You will be off work for now
but not forever, because you wont be sick forever remember that.
Leaving work is the best thing you could do for yourself at the
moment its a sign that you care about yourself, and you want
    to get WELL-TAKE CARE STEVE
