Unfortunately, Adi, I have had both RAI and a thyroidectomy and I’ve lost my sex drive since then. My body completely relies on Synthroid now for T4. I just got the results of my TSH drawn yesterday and I’m low normal. We’re going to try to bring me up a little bit and see what happens. If I still don’t have my sex drive back, my doc is going to try me on Armour to see if this helps. My doc told me Armour is a bit more natural of a hormone than Synthroid which is totally synthetic.

Sorry for the bad news but this doesn’t necessarily mean yours is gone for good. Everyone is different!!!!

HI to all it has been along time. I havn’t read the BB for a while and I realized that Im finally feeling better. I have been booked for decompression surgery Sept 19 ,Im scared because the optho sergieon won’t do one eye at a time . I wanted him to . My eyes have gone from real bad to good in 1 year. I had finished radiation therapy by dec 99 and had been on prednisone at the time. Now I hope that this is the last stages of the desease. I don’t have much of my spelling or some of my memory Ha! Ha! that could be age I just turned 44.I scarred about the surgery but try not to think about it for now.

I really realized how important this BB was and still is to me. Through the really bad times this is where I came every day and now I check only once in awhile. I would like to thank Jake and Jan for starting this for us.

I think Im on the road to recovery I have good days now where I didn’t think I would ever.
    Thanks everyone
    Lou
