Actually Jan, I was generally interested in a clarification of the purposes
of the orgnaization. Not being critical, just asking. Don’t want to name them here, but
I can think of organizations that fund raise for research, actively encourage scientists to take on
research projects. There are those that with a function of patient or relative support (seems like that is what yours is doing)
and there are those that do both. All are valuable in their own way.
I know someone heading up a charity that tries to do all for their disease and am aware of the amazing amounts
of dedication and volunteer time that can involve. More than I could handle, for sure!
Hmm, if anyone is aware of a reputable organization taking donations to be used for Graves or other thyroid research, let me know.
