    Palmyra,
Yes I have heard of this is in the past. It happened to my 23 year old
cousin who came down with Graves and wnet through a divorce. Sad to say
the divorce rate for folks with Graves is very high. The emotions and such
become easy prey for the lawyers to show people are not fit to take care
of their children. I must admit sometimes it’s hard to take care of myself.
But love of your children is what should prevail in court not the fact that
you have a disease that makes life difficult some times. I would encourage
your daughter to write to the National Graves Disease foundation/I at
2 Tsitsi Court, Brevard, NC 28712 and ask for Bulletin # 38. An open letter
to husbands of Graves’Patients. It is a real eye opener for those of us
who are going through the trials and tribulations of Graves. God Bless
and Keep us posted on how things are going.

    REgards,
    Jake George
