I read so many postings from people who don’t have easy access to specialists, I guess I should be thankful that I live in an area with so many doctors to choose from. The thyroid specialist (who is about 15 blocks from my home) recommended an opth who specializes in Grave’s, and who is 18 blocks from home, and in the same building as my regular doctor. Unfortunately, he’s not in my HMO. But, if I decide to go with RAI, I probably won’t do it until January (when I can change my insurance and get out of the HMO). I’ll probably schedule a visit with this eye guy then.
