Thanks for responding. I think the only accomodation I would need really is the notetaker. I am somewhat concerned about fatigue since it is a big campus but I can schedule classes close together. I am of course also concerned about having to miss school with illness and doctors appts. It seems a huge inconvenience to be evaluated for disability and is not free either. Perhaps talking wiht my professors before class and with permission a tape recorder might be simpler.
My husband is reluctant for me to classify myself as disabled anyway because he thinks it is a self-fulfilling prophecy. I feel it is only a temporary situation and would do well to have the same advantages as other students.
School starts in Aug and I am looking forward to it.
