Good Afternoon Warriors.

There was a problem with the old hotel that could not give us enough rooms so we changed hotels to the Renaissance Chicago North Shore Hotel.

We will be accepting conference registrations up to the day of the conference and even during the conference if you cannot get there on time Friday.

We hope to have a media blitz going on in the papers and radio stations saying we are meeting. We hope to get quite a few local folks from the Chicago area to show up.

Click on the hotel link above and make your reservations. Then you can go on-line and fill out the registration form as well as pay for your conference on-line or you can send a check in with your registration. If you pay on-line please put your confirmation number in the credit card block so the registrar knows you have already paid.

The conference is fast approaching and we look forward to seeing you all there.

I apologize for being absolutely cluesless about all of this, but when I clicked on the hotel link it says the rooms are sold out for the conference weekend. That’s why I asked originally…I was hoping maybe there was another way to get a room, or maybe another hotel nearby. I also wanted to make sure we could still register if we’re not staying at the hotel. Thanks again,

I just checked the site once again. I do believe you need to hit your refresh button or your reload button depending on your browser. There are rooms available at the rate quoted on our conference site.

Some internet browsers save the last image when you visit a site and load it to make it look like your computer is faster. All it did was load the last image saved.

So hit your refresh button. We now have the conference schedule on the site as well.

Hi all,
I was unable to make the conference this past year. Do these only happen once every few years or is NGDF trying to have one every year? I would love to start saving for the next one if it will be in the fall. I figured it did not hurt to ask since I really really wanted to attend.

We have conferences every year. We will be deciding on the site for the next one in February, at the next Board Meeting. Suggestions for locations and speakers are always welcome.

I believe the conference tried to coincide with endocrine conferences however it would be nice if we could move the conference around to different parts of the US which would allow others to make the event. The last several conference have been in the central part of the US, maybe look at either the east coast or west..also since it is going to be in Feb, these areas would be WARMER..haha.. I am in VA and we would always love to have the company….mm

Fort Worth TX would work. We have been know to run around in shorts in Feb. Shoot, sometimes in Jan, also.

Yes, Texas is a nice place in Feb. Forget Denver if its to be held in Feb. Its in the 30s right now and the weather is way too unpredictable this time of year here. Oh well, Maybe some summer when its too hot elsewhere you could have it here.
