Does anyone know what a “right” level is for lab results? Mine are all within “normal” range (well what dr’s consider normal) and I’m still tired/exhausted, gaining like crazy, cold all the time, gosh the list could go on forever.

I wasnt fasting when blood was drawn (not sure if that matters)
    T3, Free 2.8pg/ml
    T4, Free 1.49ng/dL
    TSH 0.811 uIU/mL

Is there something else I can call and ask my dr to test for? I just tried to do long walk that I used to be able to do with ease and I’m not able to do it anymore without being totally exhausted.

    Thanks,
    Kim

Hello – I am hearing more and more doctors say that even though the normal range is very wide, each person has an OPTIMAL range where they tend to feel their best. The challenge is that this narrower range is different for each patient. Some feel better at the top end of the range for T3/T4, others the middle, etc..

Keeping a symptom log and matching them up with your labs can be helpful in finding this optimal spot for YOU.

    Take care!
