I recently found out that AAA offers a discount on prescriptions but not in connection with other insurance/prescription cards. A very exciting detail is that the discount applies to pets as well. The AAA discount averages 15%. I’ve got a prescription card through work so I can’t use the AAA discount. My dog is on a couple of prescriptions for his eyes. The total would have been $40. With the AAA discount, the total was $20. The discount varies but it sure worked out for me.
Even though my sister has car towing covered through another plan, she may join AAA for the discount for her pets. She currently has 5 cats, 3 dogs, a bunny and a bird.
