HI Patti……..I had a doctor four years ago that kept calling me a loon!! Second doc told me I was JUST DEPRESSED. Third doc refused surgery because NO ONE capable of doing that surgery (Scripps/ La Jolla. Such a big hospital and no one experienced?

I met someone on this BB that lives here in San Diego that referred me to a great doc in La JOlla (UCSD). I heard he’s no longer taking new patients but he does have a clinic at UCSD in Hillcrest. I’m still on PTU but reduced to 1/2 pill/day.

This doc also sent me to the Thyroid Eye Clinic in La JOlla. Please contact me and I will provide phone numbers/names!!!!!! take care, Mona

P.S. Friend I met on this board had botox treatments in LaJolla for eyelid retraction…..I can put you in contact with her.

Can you tell me more about what I can expect with my eyes please? I just started having problems with double vision. All they are doing is giving me glasses. WHat did they do at the eye clinic? Nothing else is being done. What should they be doing? I was told if things get worse then call him. I have an appointment for December. I guess you can tell I am upset. I don’t want to wait till I wake up blind one day like he said.
