Ron, I have always had a “normal” temperature of 97.7. That did not change when I had the greatest intolerance to heat.

Ron, same here as what Francis said! My temperature while hyper was never higher than 97.7.

Has anyone ever experienced a low body temperature (97.0 to 97.5) while expreriencing all the other symptoms of grave’s (hyper). My pulse is 100, and I have tremor and feel very hot, but my temperature is always low. I haven’t been able to figure it out. Maybe I’m just weird.

    Thanks,

    Ron

    Hi, Ron:

I have had a low body temperature for years — both pre and post-Graves. I once asked my GP about it (pre-Graves), and did not get any answer. He did not seem to think it was anything to be concerned about. Whether it is connected or not, I don’t know.

I just checked my medical records, and my temperature at Graves’ diagnosis was 97.2. It was 95.3 when I was severely hypo, and with normal thyroid levels was 97.1. Like Bobbi, my temperature has always been low.
