    Hi ! I just stumbled upon this support group and I’m glad I did !
    I was looking through some of the postings last night, Shannon I was
    awake too :) I find that depression and anxiety have been a part of
    my life since Graves. I am on meds for this. Are there many people
    on this BB that have to take antidepressants or antianxiety medication?
    I have been living with this disease for 3 years now, I’m in my mid
    20’s sometimes I feel like i’m “crazy” I have Graves eye disease also.

    First thing you cant be crazy because i am, my name is crazy steve
    second, your not the only one on meds for the funny farm im on
    lorazepam.Third i know a summer she lives in florida this couldn’t
    be you right.

    Hi Summer, welcome to the BB. I have had GD since 1993. YUK! Depression
    and anxiety have been a big part of my disease also. I must admit that I
    fought antidepressants for quite awhile. I hate taking them now. I feel
    considerably better now than I did six months ago when I started treatment.
    Actually, My doctor, (who I think is wonderful) mentioned the link between
    GD and depression, so I was fortunate. I will be on the antidepressants for
    at least one year, then we will wean me off of them. If you have time to
    read some of the back entries on the BB, sort them by subject, you will find
    a little survey of the people who have taken these types of drugs. Good
