    Hi all,

I recently underwent my second mullerectomy (the first did not lower my lids enough). I am 5 days post-op and about 90% of the swelling is gone. One lid looks perfect, the other is drooping severely. I was hopeful for the first few days that it was just caused by the swelling, but as the swelling goes down, the lid is not coming up.
So, my question is: has anyone experienced over correction with a mullerectomy, and if so, was it able to be fixed? I see my surgeon again in a week and I’ll sure we’ll discuss it then, but I’m feeling pretty anxious here. I look 10 times worse than I did before the surgery.
    Thanks.

Of course that is distressing. I had the same procedure twice. Pretty easy to correct, in my experience. You are right that it might be a bit better in another week. Be ready to ask your questions and express your worry about this when you see the surgeon.
