Congrats Oda!!

So I am curious about your remission story. How long did it take you to be in remission? What type of treatment did you do? Did you alter your diet or take any vitamins? I am new to the world of GD and am hoping the medication works so I to will be able to try and wean myself off of it to go into remission as well! I am hopeful!

Congrats again! So happy for you:)

Hello again!

So after so long of having alot of trouble with GD, uttering my frustrations here and everywhere, hehe, I’ve finally have some good news!
I am in remission! <img decoding=” title=”Very Happy” />
Been so for a couple of weeks now, but didn’t want to jinx it by saying (and writing) it out loud too soon. But oh, I’ve been feeling so good, and the proof was after a recent trip to Paris, where I only needed one nights sleep after a long day including flights and frustrating airports. Had it been a couple of months ago, i would have needed atleast three whole days

So, I really want to thank everyone here for replies on earlier posts, and all the info I’ve found. Finding out I was not alone in it all really helped.
So thank you! you really are awesome

here’s to hoping it lasts!

It took me a little over a year, since I was sick for a long time before we caught it. I only took medication, at the end for high and low, to become stable.
I did! I quit soy, although not confirmed, i felt horrible when I would drink soy milk, and I am lactose intolerant, so no milk except for cheese’s etc with low amounts of lactose. I stopped eating as much gluten, and really amped on healthy foods. And ALOT of red meat, because of my b-vitamin levels. Also took vitamins for that

Well, welcome, as unfortunate as it is.. But hopefully, you will get there too! I was so low and awful i never thought I would, and everything gets better with positivity, so its so good that you’re hopeful

Thank you so much! And good luck on your journey

God Bless ya, Oda! Whenever I hear of conditions going into remission, it makes my heart swell. Obviously, I’m aware that we don’t know each other, but I’m happy for you! Whatever you’re doing is working, so you should totally keep doing it. Perhaps I can learn a thing or two from ya. Congrats! I wish you all the best!
