    Hello Kimberly,

Thank you for all your help. I wanted to ask you about the T3. In a recent post you said it was related to eye problems?

Can you explain more, please? And is it T3 or FT3?

Talking about T3/FT3, also, on my last post about my labs you mentioned the T3 and I was wanting to make sure I understood you correctly so I left you a question there. Maybe you can look at it?

Second question … well, I guess by now this is 3rd question, right? :)

Where can I find the letter made to a husband?

    Thank you again!
    Caro :)

I think I answered your question on T3 vs. FT3 in the other post. As far as high T3 and eye involvement, elevated T3 is a *risk factor* for eye complications following treatment with RAI, along with elevated antibody levels and smoking. This doesn’t mean that any one of these factors *will* cause eye problems, just that a patient with these risk factors has a higher risk than someone without the risk factors. The presence of these risk factors can influence whether a course of steroid therapy is recommended in conjunction wtih RAI.

    Hope this helps!
