Hello – If you search posts for RebeccaJT, we do have one member who had thyroid cancer discovered (late last year, I believe) after a thyroidectomy for Graves’.

The GDATF doesn’t currently have any materials regarding thyroid cancer, but here are two great organizations that provide info and resources:

Hello, I am in that 1% also. I have Graves and had a complete thyroidectomy February 10, 2012. The pathology report confirmed I had papillary carncinoma, which they tell me, is the most common type of thyroid cancer. I’m currently healing and trying to decide about future treatment. Hope you are feeling better :)
