I was just diagnosed with Graves’ by my FPand was referred to a gastroenterologist I am to see this afternoon. I know that sounds a bit strange, I thought if anything I should see an endo man. I have had Crohn’s disease for 22 years and the family practicioner (sp) and gastro enterologist have both agreed I should take the atomic cocktail. Seems a bit harsh to off an organ the first time it malfunctions, don’t you think? What questions do you think I should be asking. What are the complications and side effects to RAI, if any? Can anyone out there help?
