    Cathy,
You have already been a great help to me with the posts you have answered since I became a member of the board. I wish you well with your schooling. Welcome as a moderator. I know you will be a help to many more people. I am striving to feel normal again after RAI and your success gives me hope.

Hi everyone – I wanted to post a short intro since I am the newest of the moderators. I am a nurse and nurse-midwife who is currently directing a rural nursing education program that allows LPNs to become RNs. I am in-process with a second masters degree – which I started a year ago to broaden myself beyond women’s health and birth. I am looking at a new degree called a clinical nurse leader at the moment – it mixes leadership with advanced clinical skills. So, I am studying for a test tomorrow – and frequently – so my time on the board may be a little more irregular than some of the other facilitators. I do have Graves – and at the moment am feeling "like myself again" after RAI and now replacement hormone. My live-in family consists of 4 cats – who I just read do control humans (their cries are a lot like human cries) and a couple goldfish. I have two grown daughters and a 3 year old granddaughter – so I am off to visit them on my school and teaching breaks. I am also a positive psychology life coach (which is a new branch of psychology that deals with happiness and resilience). I am looking forward to joining the great team of facilitators at NGDF and to continuing to learn from them and all of you as we take the Grave’s journey together.

Thanks all. I survived the test though I might have needed a little of that Grave’s test anxiety back as I turned off my alarm and almost slept through the online test. I made it with 2 minutes to spare. Soooo lovely to sleep well again!!!
