    Hi all
    I`ve just had my latest blood results and TSH 0.10 (0.35-3.50) T4 18 (8-21) T3 4.30 (4-6).
So I`ve gone a bit hyper but I`m seeing my endo on Wednesday and think she may drop me from 150 mcg levo to 125.
Does the T3 look a bit low? (something else to ask her)

I`m still very tired and wondered if the symptoms lag behind the blood results?
Hopefully I`m on the mend ……at last!

Hello – The question on dosing and interpretation of labs is one to definitely have with your doctor.

The link between symptoms & results can be tricky. Some patients can tell where their levels are based on symptoms, with a fairly high degree of accuracy. In other cases, the symptoms can be misleading. The GDATF’s founder, Nancy (who works in healthcare), tells a story about the time when she made a dosing adjustment on her own based on symptoms and ended up making things much *worse*!

Definitely make sure you have a list of all your current symptoms when you have your doctor’s appointment this week, so your doctor is aware of these when you are discussing dosing adjustments. Hopefully, with every adjustment that you make, you are getting closer to that “sweet spot”!

    Hi Joy,
Getting close, and on the mend – what great news – good for you, Joy! Although I am on the ATD see-saw, it has been my own experience that symptoms do tend to lag behind the numbers. I think I read here (or somewhere), that getting to our sweet spot dose comes first, and then the healing can begin. Maybe Kimberly can confirm or correct my understanding, though … Glad to hear you`re feeling better and can see that light at the end of the tunnel getting brighter!
