Hello – We’re fellow patients here, not docs…and it’s important to note that each patient is unique and will respond differently to a change in meds.
As you start this new dose, keep an eye out for common symptoms of hyperthyroidism, which can include rapid heart rate, hand tremors, muscle weakness, insomnia, unexplained weight loss, excessive sweating, and frequent bowel movements.
Hopefully, this latest dose adjustment will get you where you need to be. But if you do notice these issues, definitely get back in to have a new set of labs done. If your regular doc is still out, it sounds like the replacement doctor will be flexible in working you in.
Take care!
