    Hey Michelle,

WHATEVER works, use it and don’t apologize for it. You need your rest, that’s the first priority! <img decoding=” title=”Very Happy” />

    Hi Michelle,

I agree with what Ski suggested, she is very wise. Like everyone else has said and experienced, as time goes on and your body becomes use to the ATD your symptoms will become less and under control and you will be OK.

After reading through this tread I know think my GD started just after my daughter was born just over 3 yrs ago, I was diagnosed apprx 6 months after she was born. I now remember having trouble sleeping but I thought it was because she was just a newborn and was up a few times during the night and also having to keep up with my 20 month old Son. But now I truly believe it was GD and what scared me the most after she was born was that I tried Tylenol PM, suggested by a friend to only take 1 pill instead of 2, I only used it 2 times and both times something happened during the night that I can not recall at all doing. One was one night we had our daughter in her crib when we went to bed and when we woke up she was in her cradle in our room and my husband swears he did not move her. So I must have gotten up to feed her and then put her in our room but I have no memory of that and it scared the heck out of me. So I threw that bottle of Tylenol PM out.

I have been off of Tapazole for about 6 weeks hoping to be in remission; I have recently started to have problems sleeping again, muscle weakness, out of breath walking up step, and just plain fatigued. I’m guessing I’m not in remission and will have to discuss other options with my Dr. on 7/7 when I go back to see him.

Michelle – I know you’ve heard this before but hang in there it does get better.

    Hi

Do hang in there. I have been tried for six years; I just found out in May that I had GD. They put me through sleep studies, two years ago, and four years ago I went on anti depressants. At work for years everyone knew me as the person who could not stop saying she was tired, I mean every day. Now I know why I have been tired, it took just a blood test. Why it took so long I haven’t a clue.

I am taken ambien, but also at times take night quill it works it takes that much just to knock me out.

I hope the medication you are taken works and you finial get the rest you deserve

    Sleep tight <img decoding=” title=”Wink” />

Tylenol PM helps. I take a half-dose (one pill) so I don’t feel too groggy in the a.m. I take it the night after the previous night (when I didn’t sleep well). It’s not habit-forming.
