Just get copies of your lab reports, so that you can double check things. Fingers crossed that you are, indeed, in remission. But keep in mind that to be a “real” remission, it has to persist for over a year. (The technical definition of remission)

I just recently found out my Methimazole was causing me to go hypo, my lab says their standard range is between .3-5 and i went from being <.015 to 62.602 in my first 6 weeks of treatment. Needless to say they cut my dosage. I went from 30mg daily to 5mg a day but they should only increase the medication if you were to start going back down, not increasing your levels. I am glad you got it all figured out and hope that you are in fact in remission! Best of luck!!!! “We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope.” Bri

I am very happy for you. Your common sense and logic told you that this was crazy. I kinda regret not encouraging you to hold off on that larger dose, but, as is often said here, we are not doctors, we are patients.
having said that, doctors are not always right, and there is more room for error when the messenger is not the doc.
Best wishes in your new goals!
