Happy Mother’s Day to you too. I am not a mother and just have adopted “fur babies” but will still enjoy the day.

    Whew,

What a day. I hope all you mothers out there had a wonderful day. I played mister Mom today for six kids while all the Mom’s went for a morning cruise.

Boy am I out of practice. But the Mom’s had a great day. I’ll let Jan tell you about it later.

Thank God my energy held up. Took them to the zoo, to the store to decorate cakes (no such luck. Had to buy them and decorate them at my house) and then on to my house for the pool.

Them kids ate a whole loaf of bread for peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Holy Cow!!

I told them Jakes three simple rule for me watching them.

    1. No bleeding on the carpet.

    2. If you didn’t bring it with you as permission to touch or use it.

    3. Bleeding on washable surfaces was acceptable.

They didn’t quite know what to think about number three so they gave me no problems.

Man them kids made me laugh. As a Scoutmaster for 25 years I quit that two years ago. I am out of practice

Jake and I wish to extend our heartfelt wishes and love to all the mothers out there. Please remember to pamper yourselves and allow yourselves to be pampered on your “special” day of the year. Be thankful for your children, for the time you have or have had with them. Take time to smell the flowers, look at the clouds, fly a kite or just do something you haven’t done since you were a kid(although some of us still consider ourselves, “kids” at heart!).

Our son will not be with us, but know we will hear from him. As for our day, it’ll include brunch with friends and then an afternoon poolside with a cookout in the evening.

May you all have the most wonderful mother’s day ever!

    Our Best Wishes to All,
    Jan & Jake
