Hi all – The University of California Los Angeles Jules Stein Eye Center is hosting a Graves’ Disease Outreach Event on Saturday, June 14th from 8:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m..
One of the presenters is Dr. Catherine Hwang from the Oculoplastics Division; Dr. Hwang spoke at the GDATF’s 2012 San Diego conference and received a great response.
The event is free, but advance registration is required to reserve space. You can register and see the full roster of speakers here:

This should be a great event if you are in the area!
Kimberly
Just a reminder for those in the L.A. area that this event at Stein Eye Institute is two weeks from tomorrow (June 14th)!
Kimberly,
the conference sounds wonderful! But is is just two weeks from now, and I can’t make that plan at this late date. And the air fares are much better (usually, not always) a month or more in advance. Dr. Chang is a great speaker and wonderful doctor.
ShirleyHi Shirley – Yes, Dr. Hwang is a wonderful speaker! My original post regarding this event was on April 17th, which was as soon as we found out about the event; my post from today was just a reminder.
The only other major event (other than local support groups) that is currently planned for the rest of the year is the 1/2 day seminar for parents at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia on 11/22. When events do come up, though, I post them here as soon as the dates are confirmed. You can also find current event listings on the gdatf.org site, on the GDATF’s Facebook page, and the monthly e-newsletter that goes out.
Enjoy the weekend!
