MLK, my Graves’ was also mild I went into remission for two years after taking methimazole for about 6 months but when I relapsed I went to two different endos that would not put me back on ATD’s so I went ahead and did RAI, if you find a good endo they will check on you frequently post RAI to catch you before going hypo. My endo has done this for me, I know it has theres a potential to have a few kinks in finding the right amount of synthroid, I feel like the benefits in the way I feel, think, heck my whole life has been returned to me, those benefits are just too good, I still don’t regret it.
