Hi all – I know that we have a handful of Arizona folks posting here.
The GDATF will be hosting a “Healthy Appetite Charity Culinary Challenge” from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. on January 19th in downtown Scottsdale, AZ.
January is Thyroid Awareness Month, so the event will serve to raise awareness as well as funds for the GDATF. Tickets are $75, and the event will feature a wine tasting as well as local culinary students competing to give traditional comfort foods a nutritious, delicious makeover.
We still have spaces open for volunteers, sponsors, and culinary schools — and we are also looking for silent auction items.

With the special event going on, we will be having an informal support group meeting the week before (Jan. 12th) from 2:30 – 4:00 p.m. at the Paradise Bakery in North Scottsdale, just off the 101 & Raintree.
