Hi all – The Graves’ Disease and Thyroid Foundation’s 2012 Annual Appeal is underway! The GDATF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and relies on donations from individuals, corporations, and charitable foundations to continue providing our educational and support services.
For those who are in a position to give, donations are much appreciated! Funds received through the end of the year will be matched 100% by a challenge grant from the Bell Charitable Foundation.
Check out the link below to read more about the GDATF’s 2012 efforts and to learn more about donating.

Kimberly, I went to the link. I think more information is needed. It said,
“scan here,” I was not sure what that meant, but I decided it meant to scan my credit card on the scan here design. I have never done anything like that before. Nothing happened. I will try to begin again, type in the site myself, and try to donate. I think I did at the annual meeting, but wanted to give some more, cause the organization has been so helpful for me. But first, I need to know how to do it, I want to do it tonight, during 2012.
ShirleyShirley – that symbol you see is a QR code. You can “scan” it with a smartphone (iPhone, Android, Blackberry, etc.) and it will bring you to the donation form online. It’s really meant for people who get a hard copy of the annual appeal letter and want to donate right away without typing in a website. I’m guessing you just want to do it from your computer and that link is http://www.gdatf.org/shop/donate/
Thanks! I am a luddite in this area! I went to the site, donated there. I’ll work on my scanning skills for 2013!
Thank you again
ShirleyHi all – Yes, the link that gatorgirly provided above is the one that you could use directly to donate online.
@Shirley – Many thanks for your support! Don’t feel bad, I just learned how to scan QR codes — and how to text this year. I finally got embarrassed because my mom was so good at texting…and I would respond to her texts by picking up my phone and calling her back. -
