You should be able to try Tapazole and have a reasonable expectation of success. The two drugs act differently to accomplish the same thing.

If PTU is making me sick, would I be able to switch to Tapazole?
My levels are within the "normal range" as of a few weeks ago but I’m still very sick.
PTU gives me body aches so bad I don’t even want to hold a pencil, and I was running to the bathroom a lot! At first the meds didn’t effect me at all. After a few weeks( I think) I got the symptoms above.

    Thanks!
